Eve

Missing image
Past the rustling of the shy and naked Eve
Into the nests of branches, where the beautiful fruits managed to leave
Realisations and the torments of the scolded innocent child
Into the legions of the damned and the wanderings, of the beguiled

Cast down to Earth from the heavens and safety of the eternal life
Forced into companionship and the sexual needs of the bride of a wife
Buried after death in the furrowed fields, of the unsure and the unknown
Just when you thought your wisdom had expanded,  it had overgrown

Looking for the secret path, that will lead you to the kingdom again
Your ideas are mutated and twisted, as you created religion out of flooded rain
Feel the anger and the betrayal and feel the isolation, the mortality and the pain
Murderous thoughts were released in the bloodied brood, of the Abel and the Cain

Searching for the Golden Fleece, in the hope of some atonement
You persued your desires, with obsession and the ultimate act of postponement
Tongued your passions, with the Babeled acts of the vile and the unspoken
Always sullying your purity in the magick of the circle that was broken

Look at the hourglass shape of infinity and the curved shape of Eve
You lost your innonence and you lost your reason and motivation to believe
Simple ideologies that were expanded in the depths of time and known space
As you once again remembered the moment, you saw the beauty of her face

Georges.

    Pleased to see....

...that you haven't changed your style, passion and vitriol Georges old lad.
NB I think it is spelled pursue.
    Regards,

AMAZING write. I really really loved the rhyming and the story. The last verse is a fantastic closing. Very well done. : ) Thanks for sharing.
