Nevermore

In the end there's only emptiness,
There is no place to go.
No Heaven, no Hell, nothing-
There isn't even a Goddamn limbo.

So if we carry on through life feeling empty
Does it mean we've already reached the end?
If that's the case, I forgot to say my goodbyes;
I forgot to give my love to my greatest friends.

I guess life's too short to keep on waiting,
That hope is just another useless waste.
And all the shattered fragments on the floor
Still never fit quite perfectly into place.
