Ken And Barbie:

Missing image
Ken and Barbie grew up together,
and even were high school lovers,
Both their families had money,
and neither had sisters nor brothers.

So they were catered and pampered ,
a life of unlimited  pleasure and joy.
Barbie was always his pretty lover girl,
and he was her handsome lover boy.

Such a beautiful story told over and over,
of a life we wish we had somehow.
But reality sets in no matter who you are,
and just take a look at them  now.

This is a great write, and sprinkled in the words of humor are a true, powerful, important message.

Best of luck in the contest. (There were a couple of spelling errors "they're" in line 3, and "matter" in line 11.)

I absolutely just love this picture. When I clicked on this poem and say that picture I laughed out loud. It was great. Then I read the poem and all I can say is this is definitely a winner. Great job!
