An Empty Life

I wake in the morning
Just like the day before
I hear the silence
And miss you even more
I head out of house
With the sun shining above
I cannot feel it's warmth
Not without your love
At the park
I see the empty swings
They were your favorite
You said it gave you wings
Now you really do have them
And so does your dad
I cry every day
I am always so sad
I went from being
A happy mom and wife
To what I have now
Just an empty life

I love that this actually tugged at my hearts strings.
Excellent write, beautifully simple whilst saying so much.
    Thank you for the entry.
