Lonesome Running Road

Longing for the forbidden kiss

Over the forgotten veil

Not to be in this wandering bliss

Even with the terrible trail

Sometimes I wish that I could be there

Only to realize that I am not

Maybe that veil will lift one day

Ever to be forgot.

Running through the misty forest

Upon your back I do go

Now you are gone

Now I wish to die

In this little town that does nothing but cry

Now I wish for that one little bite

Getting me what I wish of  you.

Rise upon the softest kiss

Only to find that it is but a dream

All I wish for is your return

Dreaming of this I constantly do.

Author notes

I don't know if this makes much sense but it is the way it came out. It is an acrostic I do hope you like it because I DON"T lol

It's okay. I like a dream of a perfect kiss and only realizing that the perfect kiss you feel is a dream. Thanks for sharing this and thanks for entering it into my contest. You use imagery well here.
