The meshing of two hearts,
begins with just one touch,
a touch that feels so right,
a touch you love so much.
Hearts filled with warmth,
soon become attached,
in the beauty of all sharing,
a new love has been hatched.
Love is like a newborn,
learn to walk before you run,
know each others virtues,
share the light of the setting sun.
Based on honesty and trust,
loves flower shall surely bloom,
sharing each others feelings,
in the light of the darkest gloom.
The sands of time flow swiftly,
loves wisdom shall grow with age,
never standing still for long,
it rolls on like the desert sage.

I would believe, that meshing and messing sound similar and therefore just nibble a classic structure off this fine piece, I may have used, joining, to add significance to a poem which should have won a trophy. I loved the theme, for which my Sands of Time, could have put to good use. Lovely words

Ah..your immageries are very softly describing the saga of this love... slowly and slowly ...in each stanza..you brought the beauty of the love in your words here..well done....

Your love shines like the sun for the blossom to bloom, your words cascade down like the falling rain, with words that speak from the heart like these it is so wonderful to know a love like yours.

Inspirational your heart reflects the love
In timeless horizons far reaching the edge.
First taken slowly and to flourish later on..
Lines that hit me most of all are..
sharing each others feelings,
in the light of the darkest gloom.
Pity more new loves do not understand that even in love the darkness does appear and they need to be more caring and thoughtful to those needs.
Best wishes in the contest

Beautifully written Karl. There is not a flower bloom anywhere that is as beautiful as the blossom of love. Keep up the good writing. Katie
