Poker Face

I've got my poker face on,
I'm not going to smile,
I'm not going to frown.
And I'm not going to cry.
You dare to wonder why.
I'm keeping on my poker face.
Until these feelings are erased,
The emotions that are my hell,
Inside still they deeply dwell,
But you'll not see them in this place,
They shan't even mare my face.
I've got my poker face on,
I'll wear it from dusk till dawn,
No smile, No frowns, No tears,
You'll never know my inner fears,
You lost the right so long ago,
My poker face is all you'll know.

    Love it hun.
I'm pretty sure I know what this is about.
    Stay Strong.
You are far to awesome not to be.

I love the repetititveness of the whole "I've got my poker face on"... and then how you continue to go on about tears, fears, frowns and smiles...

    Simply drives the point home.

It isn't fun bottling up feelings though, they somehow always come out.

Anyway. Enough of my rambling. The most important thing is that this was a great poem, a little awkward with the rhyming / flow at times; but a good enough subject matter and idea behind it to warrant not having to worry about it.

    Kudos to you.

    Much love
    me xoxo
