If knowledge destroys
Let him be the example
Let his twisted form
Show the price of education
His body burned
The kiln standing behind
What must be given?
To hold that flame
Bitter sweet fruit
From the forbidden tree
We watch it kill
But still we eat
He must have eaten
Its taste chokes
Its presence twists
Until the stomach gives
Removing the patches
His eyes burned away
These things to be seen
Are not things to be wanted
Is knowledge worth its price?
The cost of your arms
The cost of your leg
Your ability to fly from this
What would you give?
In return for knowledge
But what they take
Is it worth it?
Please tell me what you think
