    Touched my heart deeply

    Oh goodness, MB, what a poignant and beautiful piece this is, with such resonance and pertinence that I can so relate to it myself as I embark on a new chapter of my life, leaving friends, losing love, yet looking ahead to a new spring and what the wind might bring. This really touched my heart. PS..I hope you are doing okay.. suzy

    Such a simple write. The clear, mercurial, nature of "wind" echos the "empty" and Autumn signifies to me a beautiful ending.

    Hey there wonderful teacher! What's wrong? You sound very low in this post and poem. I hope that happy winds will soon blow for you! I have felt this loneliness 10 years ago, but today I'm so much more happier with my life and choices. Bravo! But, we gain experience as we age and you have a gold mine at 61! I'm so happy and blessed that in this lifetime you were my poetry teacher. I miss chatting with you and reading more poetry. Life as a School and Institution Head is so challenging at present for me. I've been working without even 1 day break since 7th May'2008! I feel like I'm in the autumn period of my 1st year at this post. LOL...Keep that giggle on!

      Thanks for coming by Char.... my life is great... no worry. Sometimes things go well some times they swing the other way..... I've been pondering people I've lost over the recent years .... and I wrote this. But I'm fine.... life in general is amazing.... and it goes on with or without us.... LOL
