~~Twilight Time~~ (Green and Silver Trophy)

Missing image
Edward, my vampire lover
Whose body glistens like stars in the night
Watching me for protection
Against the raging wars outside
Loving me,Bella a mortal for affection

I run with you through the forest
Can't escape your amber gaze
But blood flows through my heart
As we soar through the mystic maze

I thought moving to Forks would be dull and drab
But it was the most unexpected experience
That I have ever had

You are like a vial of elixir beckoning
The taste sweet as wine
Body,soul, and blood
All temptation to me
My life as a vampire confined

Time flies by
I sit and wait
Take me,make me yours
Before the coming dawn

I am on my knees
Confessing my sins
Your cold hand touches mine so soft
When we touch my heart sings
Instantly in love with you
I am lost

We love before sunrise
Awakening our desire
I love you unconditional
Through time, through hell,through fire

Whose body glistens like stars in the night

This line is my favourite, the imagery just grabbed me and from there the poem is good. I also like the way it sort of rhymes, but is also kind of freeverse.

Very good job, maybe a little work to be done on placing of certain words, but other than that it is quite good.

Very nicely done. I have read only two of the books but I look forward to reading even more of them. This tells the story of their love very well. Thank you for entering.

    excellent!

You tell of this love so well in your poem. The books must be really good if you can't put them down. Maybe I will read them.

The poem flows smoothly, and I especially like this line:

"You are like a vial of elixir beckoning"

    Good luck in this contest!

Very sensual. It certainly portrays lust and deception which is what vampires offer. I think your muse is back. Very appropriate for the season.
I've been concerned for you. I hope all is well. Missed you.
