Cupids arrow has planted itself more then I can count,
makes me wonder if I got in the way,for was it meant for someone else?
Relationships begin with your best foot forward,
germinating into something spectacular,
should I start mine walking backward,
for mine end up in a disaster?
Ex's in the closet, some on the porch,
Some out in the field, mocking,tempting me to torch.
Many hidden under the bed, numerous ones stored in the shed,
embarrassed am I to admit this presumptuous reputation has spread.

This is soooo cute. Really it is. Can't stop laughing. The imagery is just wonderful. I could visualize a ex in each of the places that you mentioned. I just couldn't help myself. And the title... wow! You did a great job here. I loved this totally!
