I live by my word,
that which binds me to the earth,
my spirit left when my words can no longer hold on.
I will be sent to a judge who will redefine,
what is sinful and what is divine,
and then be sent to the realm they decide.
I have been sent to the one that shines light,
allowing me to see the otherside,
the wrong side of this town is just a walk away.
Walk away from the chance to live just fine,
stepping off the cliff just to look over,
and see the others laughing as you fall.
I should've listened when somebody said life was too good,
been grateful to live so well,
and now I am reminded of this whenever I speak.
I speak my words that don't go over well,
I mispoke the other day when I said I lost it all,
and another nearby screamed out what I was thinking...
This is Hell!
