ink-spotted maroon petals,
tugged at by windy fingers
and set to dancing
above the bread-knife cabbage foliage
of the plants themselves;
infinite expanses,
rolling out against a black
emptiness of possibility,
vivid verdure, vivified by longing;
opium poppies.

Your worlds are so describing what you saw and it is somewhat an odd thing to see, yet its relaxing. Just leaning back, watching a soft and slow dance with the wind. Thats relaxing for sure.
Thanks for taking the time to enter and best of luck.

I grow poppies. I find them very soothing and beautiful plants. It surprised me that such a detailed image flashed before my closed eyelids, but that's what happened. Interesting contest.
