I float your raft

It’s been a while
Though, you never left my thoughts
You’ve been lost in a maze of trailers and traitors.
It wasn’t the path that I would have chose… but those
Who dose and float peacefully when there are drugs to be done don’t always understand.
Do they?
It was only a message, a simple message,
To reach out for reassurance.
But don’t worry little patsy
Because no matter the pain and discomfort you cause me,
I will be there with my raft when the dog paddle fails you again.

Please tell me what you think

im not sure which angle youre coming from in this. likeee i cant tell if youre the drugie or the drug absentee.

but i guess thats what poetry is..

but the last line is great. youre this persons life vest. you keep them from smacking their skull on rock bottem each and eveytime and are down to do it again. i respect that

Haha, The druggie is who I'm speaking to. Thanks for the comments. I suppose my poems never make much sense to anyone else .
