Leaves so pretty,
red and green,
dance beneath,
what isn't seen.
carried dreams,
so fagile to the touch,
floating away,
fate never liked me much.
A bitter cold,
weeping past the window,
if you listen,
ever so silently,
she speaks to me,
I'll never be,
alone.
masked within a shroud,
always on the run,
I cannot give up,
what I've begun.
It feels so nice,
to look into the sky,
frozen to the world,
here,
I could die.
A bitter end,
weeping in the bedroom,
if you listen,
ever so silently,
she speaks to me,
saying,
I love you.
Don't cry,
don't let go,
you mean more,
than they will ever tell.
You can be the Sun,
you can be the Moon,
To anyone,
and everyone,
who is willing.

Oh wow this really fulfilled the contest brief in my estimation it is strange because it is similar to mine in that I think you saw a house.

This is more like a poem about what you feel, I just can't make out what object or thing you saw when closing your eyes.
All together this is a very deep and emotional filled poem with a touch of sadness in it.
Thanks for taking the time to enter, and best of luck!

oh...hahaha... i saw everything. It started with the leaves, and led into the wind and etc. I meditate twice daily, so when i close my eyes, i get a story, not just an image. its how a lot of my poetry kind of takes shape. This contest asked me to do more than what i usually do, but i couldn't just describe what i saw, i had to attach the emotions to it.
thank you for your kind words though.
