Hourglass Goddess

Rise with velvet tides upon Meridian cliffs
along the moon’s kiss
as Nereid harps whisper bliss,
Tranquil, serene and pure
from these silver pools.

Bathe in Aurora’s placid whispers,
tender caress of kaleidoscopic fingers.
Sheltered and veiled you emerge
From sky and ocean’s embrace
To spill upon the land.

The midnight’s fabled mist,
gliding paths to fill the cracks,
drizzling, dribbling, trickling,
flowing, rushing, roaming
to absorb and revive.

Fluid force to line the world in a web,
Shapeless and hidden with a thousand masks
You circle to renew, revive and model,
A goddess in an ethereal hourglass,
Fearsome and gentle, ultimately just.

Forever and for always,
A titan, a nymph, who weaves dreams.
Content and modest,
Simply Blue.

It was my utter pleasure and yeah I always thought to write a poem to honor our darling Blue. It was a great contest and thanks for the shiny cup too.

I can't believe this is written with me in mind!
These words are hauntingly beautiful and the
whole of it produces imagery of fluid blue.
Thank-you my prince for giving such honor to me.
I am left with a lump in my throat...
and feeling an ultimate kind of special. Blue

And they have a rhythm taht doesn't fade from my mind in a matter of minutes, which is a major improvement. I am satisfied you enjoyed it and to tell you the truth I thought really hard on what you enjoyed: Aurora Borealis, the moon and the Meridian. To me you are water, beautiful blue and the best way to show you what you are was to paint a canvas of blue. This is for you Blue, for you are a never seizing fountain of inspiration.
