She's watching her world
turn into some restless oblivion
Every branch of control
came up and out of her reach.
She thought she had everything

with misted rain that continues

The sky is empty as the sun

Headlights shine in every direction

And now she's driving home
from the very thing that
could destroy her stress addiction.

It lies open, rolling across
that endless, tile floor

She feels the need to write these words
even though they'll never meet with his.
He has no interest in what she
has to say anymore.
Her heart lies on that floor with his.
broken open and dying
[to be with his again]
But they won't meet to beat together
as they once did before.
She can't ask anything of him anymore
But he doesn't want her to forget him
But it hurts too much to believe
that he'll ever come back to her.

The guy I had been dating, Greg, and I split up after a few months of being practically inseparable and I miss him and things just aren't the same without him..
But it's really for the best.
I'll get over it.

you will get over him, just like I will get over aaron.
but the main part I think is wanting to be over the person, I don't want to get over aaron. I don't want to be without him, and that will hold me back.
if you truly believe this is for the best, then you'll find it easier to keep your head up.

and yeah...it will hold me back...but I can't think about him "you'll get over me once I've moved on"
I'm doing a pretty good job at keeping him out of my thoughts he just sneaks up sometimes when I dont expect him to be there. =[
as for aaron, you'll get over him too. It really is for the best and i believe you can do anything you set your heart too.
