Delirium

If only they knew you,
your cavernous ruby of a
heart of kindness,
sadly touched by hysteria.

wayward, wicked, woman,
floating false promises,
of a gentle, maddening kiss,
your vibrance simply rocks me.

unsettled soul, with super stripy blouse,
and woven hair, fit only for modern jazz style,
crazy woman, Jesus alone can timely bless;
driven by an unbalanced desire for romance.

your eyes reveal your soul,
see the wacky clouds a coverin'
the pain your heart absorbs each day,
your wish for love revealed, like luminous lightning, through psychosis.

    Madness with a hint of darkness. I really like how you describe both the physical and mental aspects of madness. The first stanza is definitely my favourite
