Eternal Summer

Bodies blanket for the cold

Bodies against a lonely world.

for Cy.

He felt his* touch were

Much warmer than usual,

So was the gaze behind

His* half-closed lids.

The room was the color

Of the sunset that evening,

And with it, the heat

Of summer in their blood.

He melted within

Those urgent arms

Learning how to see,

As he* weighed him

Down and he surrendered,

Fell to dream gravity.

He felt those lips against his –

Then something soft,

Then something sweet,

Then something gathering speed.
