Right In Front Of Me

The sun rose
And the sun set.
Now there are shadows,
Once it was clear.
Once there was sound,
Now only silence.
My heads spinning around,
My feet have left the ground.
The interior loneliness,
Tears my flesh apart,
It's been a while,
Since the world first broke my heart.
My standard of living,
Somehow got stuck on survive,
What happened to the days that I used to thrive?
Drinking to drown my sorrows,
I honestly cannot see a better tomorrow.
Screaming out for some form of relief.
Save me,
I'm drowning in grief.
No matter how hard I try,
I can't help but push you aside
And I can't even begin to cry.
Trying to play the role of a hero,
But it just falls apart,
Right in front of me...
