is it the wrong time to say i love you
would it seem like it's only for the amazing things
that you've created and brought forth to share
because while that is a wonderful part the thing is
that isn't only why i love you....
is it the wrong time to say i love you
after talking about the special moments we've had
that no one else has ever dreamed of having let alone sharing
because while this also is something we've honestly done
that isn't only why i love you....
is it the wrong time to say i love you
for what does that really mean to say it to someone
and i know it's not meant in the normal sense of the word
or at least the way most people tend to think of it
but isn't that why i love you?
is it the wrong time to say i love you
because really it's not that i do for any reason
and it's not that this is love by any other definition of the word
but that special way that only a few have defined it
and isn't that why i love you?
is it the wrong time to say i love you
because saying it only after the fact of something
makes it imply that this is the reason i love you
and that isn't really how i love you....
it is the wrong time to say i love you
because i do all of the time
for the very reason you are you
ever changing as you may be
but it isn't that i love you for anything
and it isn't that i love anything about you

just
love
you
for
you
completely
without reason
and without need for it
because what i love
is you
and
whoever
that is
i
love
them
because what i love
is the essence unchanging
that guiding light that never dies within
regardless of the outside changes
i think the that internal radiance
is something you can't kill
only lose touch with
but of course
even if the connection
were to be lost
that wouldn't be a problem
because
i love you

so sorry if it came out all cliché
......a poor attempt at verbalizing one of those few random thoughts that never stopped buzzing and then became a guiding principle which lead all other actions, and glad to say it's been an amazing and wonderful thing to take on, take in, and attempt to do homage by living towards.....
in memory of a place where the person lives because of and also to give
this unconditional acceptance, gratitude, awe, respect, compassion, trust,
and reverence for the life and perfect imperfection of each other....
may we always remember our time spent there together,
even if it was only the castle in our minds....

Brilliant piece!
You say in this poem what a lot of people feel and cannot verbalise. You have summed up that wonderful feeling without being cliche in the slightest, which is not easy for such a well-written about subject.
I really liked the stream of consciousness effect that this poem had to it, you wrote it in such a way it seems effortless and fluid and natural.
I enjoyed the read.
