Greens fade to yellow and then to bright red
that reflects in the streams reflective blue.
Leaves once living and vibrant become dead
as their colors in dying quickly change hue.
This is a death that provides great beauty
and still prepares the way for rebirth.
Just as it is a human desire and a duty
to plant and replenish our great old earth.
So witness nature proving once more
that all things, including you and me
can in natures display see our spirits soar
for rebirth is ours and it's totally free!
