Strength

sitting here trying to find strength
the strength to not feel pain
as deeply as it is rushing through

i need the strength to stop the tears
to help me clear my mind

trying to find the strength to be patient
i wish i had the strength of the love
that flows through my heart

i need the strength to stop trusting
to stop wanting everything i can't have

trying to find the strength to love
but not let the love bring me pain

i need the strength to pray
for forgiveness of my heart

trying to find the strength to have courage
courage to live on to acheive everything
i want in my future

i need the strength to stop the pain
as deeply as it is rushing through
