In part I played a tune today
In part the tune played me
A melody united us in moonlit harmony
The piano sang to its extent
Its keys unlocked no doors
My soul would dance without attempt, though spirits have no floors
I was the word, it was the rhyme;
To each of us our duty
Paired poets attuned to worlds of monumental beauty

100th Hood-Wink!
The first stanza of this is my favorite - I really like the way it flows so smoothly and has interesting imagery
- the rest followed well, although I would have preferred the last line of the second stanza be broken into two - the way it reads separates them, and the line is very long in comparison to the rest of the poem - but that is just me
this is a beautiful poem!
Keep writing
