as I kneel- a silk leaf,
in a river of desire
I feel you--
the yellow moon,
with ribbons of light;
peel me naked,
among silent stars
and as a pattern of
sultry thoughts, become-
layered upon ripples
in cadence…
to your distant shore
I shimmer to golden promises,
in colors, of… a familiar song
and somewhere in-between,
in shadows of night
…I rise in the mist
and find, a bit of soft green,
under my feet
to dance with you;
…with love filled eyes

How beautiful!
You certainly ensnared my senses with this gorgeous imagery.
Very romantic and vivid.
Thanks for entering my contest. Best of luck

Well, my special friend, you are quite the romantic. I would like to say more about your ruminations, but I shall stick to your poetry!
Imagery makes me want to jump through the computer and meet this melter of hearts. Shy is just a word. I would settle for you reading the words that you cannot speak. Not afraid to embarrass, I review your romantic verse through loving eyes, and challenge you to keep penning these romances.
XOXO
