molten metal is burning into my skin
and i ignore the pain because i am a man
and was brought up to be tough
i find ground and weld another plate to the underside of the frame
a sturdy piece of work that could not be crumpled
you like to drive fast
taunt the turns and bend straightaways
ping cigarettes from windows
and feel the wind in your hair
i pin you to the back seat
and let cruise control find a speed that is pleasing
the jaws of life can not save us now
head on collision
sparks and leather fires
we live to suffer while the victim takes the prize
