A pale star where once rose a roaring sun
One last grave marking my latest conquest
My sweet little cemetery of,
Erotic dreams and hopes so seemingly blessed.
Bloodstained mirrors speak to me
In tongues of mundane misery
Of all my rage in sweet tones of appeal
The image within is distorted
But my reflection's never felt so real
Beautiful lines spill like silver blood as the form of her repentance
Love is the balance of all
To ignite the sweetest grace
Or the most bittersweet of falls
We'll never heed the closer call
We'll be the end of us all
Save us from complexity
Science was the Devil's dream
This need to overanalyze
Turns wonder to anxiety
Sloppy psychosexual
Tainted and so sensual
A product so built up
That the reality seems dull
White wings becoming
Fashionably black
Don't touch my mind, it's
Mine
[Yours]
[Theirs (For the taking)]
But though your eyes are really brown
I could never place you down
For if your eyes were blue
That's the colour I'd be too
To grab the chance to be part of you
Together for all times, forever blue
Life started today
In a plastic garden
Cells went their way
Unable to say
A stolen apple's pardon
I hope your little piggy stove
Ignites your souls with fiction's pains
A flame to eat through every bone
The fire consuming every stone
And leaving only cartoon bloodstains
To adorn this happy ending's home
These words are nothing but a shield
To help my friendly smile hide what I feel
Sugar coats to hold up what we steal
...If life is really all about deceit, how do we deal?
Sick of feeling so resigned
I'd kill you to get you off my mind
Judas was my friend
He loved me till I had no hand left to lend
As silken daggers break our trust
And reach for the heart
A good deception is a work of art
Pity the ignorant, never the blind
This essence unlocks a lonely side
That a mind might mind and think of unkindly
I accept permanence like a line on the sea;
Sometimes the simple is too complex for me
"Mon dieu, my dear, I love your eyes,
These gorgeous eyes that hold such lies,
Of one who claims love and forever ties
Yet gifts another with thirsting thighs.
Shed then dear every tear you can cry
For I belong to you, and you to I.
You always will," I said in the thrill of the kill.
A gifted life is a life without a friend.
Show no mockery
To whom you have no empathy
For the gentle hands of Death
Might be bones for you instead
Heaven is a haven for the optimistic mind
Yet Hell invokes more action than
The sweetest things combined
And in the reflection of placid tides
Our make-believe Devil bides his time
So next time that you say
"Everything'll be okay"
I'll laugh my judgements away
Knowing that you probably paid
Thirty dollars a month to feel that way
Yet when Body owns your soul
Greedy lust can take it's toll
As absorbtion with oneself would soon swallow you whole
Bruises cry for closure from self-censure.
Alone..
Until I can bury the bones of a love that I never owned.
Motivation comes with a heavy price
Even water must freeze before it becomes
Hard just like ice
There's nothing to say to unambitious clay..
Daddy, do you love me too?
The walls saw things that would break a
Knowing heart right in two
Dull shades flash gold to strangers
And lonely bus stops hold love for
Those in search of ominous answers
Colored smoke was a smile
Decorating an unintentionally
Sultry expression on
The unobtainable's face
Oh, my sweet delusion
They don't believe, but I do
I'll be chasing after phantoms
All my life, if I have to
Does a stick of red ever have a home?
Or do the catalysts of beauty,
Always die, disfigured and alone?
To harden the heart is cowardly
Deserving victory is the key
No mercy to those you loveg

"A pale star where once rose a roaring sun"
a defeated man...
"The image within is distorted
But my reflection's never felt so real"
damn, the pride you took writing this.
"Save us from complexity
Science was the Devil's dream"
DAMN, took the words right out of my mouth.
right out of my mind... This really does sound like it could be an amazing song. Given the right cords. =]
"Don't touch my mind, it's
Mine
[Yours]
[Theirs (For the taking)]"
ohh, so often the mind is toyed with...
"A flame to eat through every bone"
... you blew my socks off..
(my feet are cold now..) >.<
ahhhh your my new favorite poet.

Hey, thanks for all the comments, it's nice to know someone actually reads this stuff lol. Every once in a while I think everyone gets sick of their own writing, and it either leads to a break, a change in style, or some people lose interest. I just switch between stories and poetry.

Life started today
In a plastic garden
Cells went their way
Unable to say
A stolen apple's pardon
This is really interesting. Nice Biblical allusion.
I'd kill you to get you off my mind
This kind of made me laugh, because I have been there before.
Even water must freeze before it becomes
Hard just like ice
This is quite profound.
Thanks so much for entering my contest. -

Superb
Wow, a bittersweet, meloncolly write, I do believe; or so it seems to me. Very well written as usual, my friend. Thanks for sharing. -

Well actually it's just a compilation of some of my favorite lines from all of my poems, that I put together for a contest, but thank you anyways lol.
