the passages of time
14 grand years
in a strange way
just beginning
did you know?
that you are my hope,
my dream, and my love?
what a way to start!
impoverished!
against the odds!
How dramatic!
and, and, and
i see it,
a shining future,
so hand in hand
we proceed, we rise;
what comes next?
who knows! But we'll flow
like a beautiful blade,
cutting our way hence
and did you? oh did you?
believe in the promises?
Love, forever, and hope?
Rising tides may come,
but oh, we can surmount!
No doubt, no fear.
The movements of time,
like a sonata pass, and,
more, until the end.
Yet, like all great music,
it is played o'er and o'er,
and beloved of many.
So, whether in another
life, or in the memories
of future generations,
we will be moved, and
we will move others too.
Author notes
I tried to capture the basic rythym of the sonata, and show how i really feel about life and love
