I was so alone and very cold.
This kind of feeling makes you old.
It is as if no one has time today.
On and on as I went about the day.
I feel as of I am the only one on the street.
I helped someone do their chore.
In thankfulness, I felt I had been adored.
Don't people understand that kindness is in demand.
It is a big deal to be a helping hand, to someone.
You must remember they rely on you.
If we were able to see ourself in what we do,
Would we see us as a humble friend?
Two souls trying to work as one.
Leaning on each other, they blend as one.
Often they can turn to each other, finding a friend.
It isn't the boss who runs the floor,
All working together is the score.
Many friends are yet to be made.
Guide lines are everywhere as we go.
Apply yourself and keep the goal.

Good write mac, we need to remember to help all we can to make life a little easier for someone. I remember reading a quote that went something like this:
I never stooped so low as when I bent down to help another. It probably isn't word for word correct, but it conveys the message. Katie
