Missing image
We finally made it!
Together forever and ever.
Been through the worst,
now going for the better.

Hand in hand we go,
just you and me.
Our bodies hanging out,
we walk into the sea.

The waves gently caress,
and bring such delight.
In the cover of the moon,
we make love out of sight.

My eyes have been fading,
but your beauty I still see.
Memories take me way back,
when you cried, "Big boy...take me!"

    This poem was so funny yet sweet. It reminds me of my grandparents who have been married for 53 years! And the picture is soooo cute!!!! The first stanza is my favorite and really reminds me of my grandparents. For the better and for the worst. They argued last Thanksgiving over the gravy boat!!! It was rather amusing and how angry he got and left the house and how she looked at me and said 'see? see how childish he can still be?' And they're in there 80's and been married so lllooonnnggg!! Cute write. I enjoyed it. It brought a smile to my lips.
