Aboard this floating armada of love that has become my elegant home
Listening to caustic remarks wishing I was standing on the terrace alone
A cruise to the Orient and beyond you would think attract some appreciation
Not even the gourmet meals such as pepper blacken salmon was cause for elation
All the activities one could possibly choose; he sits and watch the clock or snooze
As vacations goes I must confide I thought this trip just couldn’t loose
As I take the key out of the keyhole and place it on the pillow of his bed
When he finds my bags gone he will then realize enough has been said
His constant nagging and all around terrible disposition has sunk our ship
Like the rodent I’m jumping ship because frankly I’ve had enough of this

oH MY what a way to go
I have a few times put a tape recorder so I could turn it on when MY husband was rattling on unaware of what he was saying due to temper .Then on a day he was in a good mood and wanted the family to have a great time I would turn it on and let him listen to it .A few times of this and he in listening to himself could see how rediculous it was and today he is cool and collected no more yelling
