Many times have I
Visited the shores,
Of damaging tides
With once leering storms.
Each visit brought me peace
And understanding of time.
The site binds me to a leash
That keeps me on broad line.
But with such understanding
There comes great sorrow,
Where loves' longing is never-ending
And it seems it shall not come past morrow.
Light gives off such tender warmth
On deep and glowing skin.
It fills us with a knowing growth
Of loving those within.
It strains the heart
Past knowing ways,
So that we may start
The road unpaved.
So here I am left
In blissful comfort.
A deep unearthed rest,
My eyelids forever sweet slumber.
