What's it like to die?
It's like a butterfly
Flapping its wings in the wind.
What's it like to die?
It's like a happy sigh
Knowing and accepting I've sinned.
Why do people die?
I don't quite know why,
I haven't died before.
But what I do know is,
You can't live life without death,
You can't smell a flower
Without the pollen dipping on your nose,
You can't own a blanket
Without it getting ripped.
Take time to look out your window,
What do you see?
Red, Orange, Yellow leaves
Swaying on the tree.
That's fall for ya,
The end for something new,
Walk outside and you will see,
The end of summer is true.
I think of what nature is trying to tell us,
Be not afraid of what will come,
But what is here now.
But what is here now?
What can you see beyond the trees...
Frost on the grass,
Colors turning bright,
Time to say goodnight.
What's it like to die?
It's like a butterfly.
What's it like to die?
It's like a happy sigh.
Why do people die?
It's the end of something new.
Please tell me what you learned

Awesome write here
Yes and for each has its own time naturally to pass .This world often takes us before we are ready but is it our time I will always wonder this for I have heard people say well it was her time .I wonder if this is so

I have always wanted death ( i mean this in the most innocent way). I guess because of same reasons you have written about. I see it as something beautiful something to end all the pain. If i have read your poem wrong tell me. Great write. I loved reading it.
