Life in the town called highschool

Surrounded by the kiss blowing couples
as i stand in the center of love st and romance drive
knowing i dont belong here, because im not one of them
i walk a few blocks down to "been single forever place" and "lonely and depressed ave."
While my shivering fragile heart and i sit on the curb
i ponder my love life
then realize I've never had one
So i cry myself to sleep as always

But then you wake me up
and brighten my day like the sun used to.
Making my day perfect when your here, and miserable when your not
giving me the directions to "will you be mines road."
Giving me the sweetest scent of how your love would be
people didnt understand and thats what claimed you mines
what claimed me yours: that mesmerizing feel you gave me without you touching me.

But what took you from my fingertips, and me from your grasp
the tear-clenching moment i found out you were never mines at all
You were hers
and it seemed all the excuses in the world couldnt fill the crack in my already dead heart.
so i sit here on " hoping you'll notice ave'"
praying you see what you never saw before.....me

    I think that you did a really great job with this write. I love the way that you put this all together. You have some minor spelling errors but, a great piece. I love the names that you gave to each street in this. This is something that I think a lot of people including myself can relate to in life. It's a terrible feeling to be all alone in this world. If this is true for you, I do hope that you find someone very soon!
