Shattered Belief

You spat in my face by calling me crazy.
But I held onto my beliefs, you didnt phase me.
You said I was stupid for having such hope
but without it how was I to cope?
You'd build me up, just to break me down.
Like a game, you watched me go round after round.
You appoligized each time for acting like this.
To make things better, you'd try a meaningless kiss.
But your apology is worthless
because I was left feeling hopeless.
But not anymore 'cause you were right.
For us, I will no longer fight.
I was crazy for thinking we could always make it.
I gave you my heart but you just wouldn't take it.
I was stupid for showing how I really felt
thinking with my love I could make your heart melt.
Well, You won.
My hope and faith in us is shattered
you threw me away like it never even mattered
I now see us going nowhere it's just a waste of time.
and I'm taking my heart back. Why? Because IT'S MINE!!!!
