The sky pours it's light onto my face
It's warmth spreads throughout my body
I seem to be lost in it's beauty
Slowly I come back to reality
The illusion flees my mind
Replaced the unknowing future that lays before me
If only I could fly into the sky
Fly into the warmth of the suns beams
Escape from this unforgiving world
Dissolve from the reality this life has thrown at me
Slowly I leave my rock, my perch where I watch life
I walk towards my home, place of unseakable actions
My boots scruff against the rocky path
The cruel cold blows mercilessly around me
I wrap my arms about me for warmth
Birds screech, as if they sense something is askew
My view of the world is everchanging
From my perch, everything is peaceful
At my home, nothing goes right
In my mind, all is uncertain
The clouds cover the perfect sunbeams
Covering the perfect harmony it creates
It's time to face the realities of the future
As the unnerving sky looms above me
