Colors everywhere exploding
reds and yellows and gold
Trees are shedding their follage
As they stand so tall and bold
Cool and bubbling waters
run fast in the meadows brook
smoke curling upward in pattern
as the barbeque begins to cook
What better time for togetherness
Sharing a meal in the park
Start your day real early
and stay till comes the dark
So don't just think of picnics
when the weather is summer hot
Venture out during color time
and find that "Autumn Spot"
