I take the pain,
That evil destructive force,
Like a blight on your life,

Hide you,
Guide you,
What would I give,

That however dosen't say much,
We all die this s a fact of life,
But for you my dear,
The only power I trust,
My love,
My obsession,

Live for you.

    This reminds me of a quote fm. the Laura K. Hamilton Anita Blake the Vampire Slayer series..To paraphrase it Anita was talking about Nathaniel and how he didn't have faith in God, but in her. "The only power I trust" Obsession? Can that not be a bad thing? Isn't it usually? spelling error on 7th line fm. the bottom. "We all die this s a fact..." is hun, is. Srry for being a critic.
