Love is Pain

Your sweet lips touch mine,
so softly.
and I feel love,
and press you tighter.

It hurts, this precious moment-
I know it will be gone.
In the end, my love,
it won't matter.

Love is pain,
it never subsides.
I cannot seem to bring myself,
to look into your eyes.

I know you will leave me,
I am not strong enough to keep you,
and for one last time,
I take you into me.

As suspected, you leave me,
never looking back.
Love, is pain,
I'm still feeling it.

    Truthfully Created Art.

    Love truly is a Fool's Game. Sadly, it's a game that we ALL play and continue to play, hoping and praying that someday we will win, only to lose more and more, damaging our Mind, Body, Heart, and Soul in the process. I definitely can relate to this.

    The hardest thing you'll ever have to say to somone you love is goodbye. You've captured that very well in this peice. I loved the flow and the background was really great. My favourite part was in stanza three,
    ''I cannot seem to bring myself,
    to look into your eyes.''
    In thought the poem was very well created and thought through wonderfully. Well done and good luck in the competition. xo

    Awww....this made me feel so sad. It sucks that something so good and so amazing can cause such pain at the same time.

    I love the stanza:

    "I know you will leave me,

    Another poem of yours that I love completly agree love seems to only end in hurt even if you love someone for a lifetime someone has to go first so thats just another view even if your not hurt by that person,we only live so long so you would be forced to watch your love die,And that is just another view of why no matter how you put it LOVE ALWAYS ENDS IN PAIN..I guess try to enjoy it while it last.........
