don't pretend to want to comprehend
perhaps you can find someone easier
less complex that you can befriend
you will say that nothings changed
but I'll be waiting for the day
that you make the realization
that makes you run away
its too much to handle
far too much to demand
that you make an effort
to try and understand
whats funny is that if you didn't know
if I hadn't shown you whats inside
you would have liked me so much better
because you wouldn't have had to try
