Autumn In New York

Missing image
orange loss dances naked branches
silent park
a whithered stark field to swallow

poetry gave her today
silken-wrapped inward
toted in her satchel

autumn leaves
hiding from earth
hanging tight to carried bag

it leaks from ripped stitching
onto cement sidewalks
and follows her around

I am bowled over poet. I am sure I know who you are and wonder if this is your talented hand in the graphic art work that adorns this page? The visual art of your words is beautiful and familiar as well.

I love what you've done here. I am in awe! Thank you for the opportunity to collaborate with a billiant wordsmith. It has been my pleasure. I wish you well in the challenge.

    Much Love ♥

    Renee
