Into the NIght

Bright yellow eyes
peering through the shrubs
Ear bursting fluttering
of the vultures wings above
Unstable bridges
swaying in the nights chilled air
Loose boards scream and groan

from the streams relentless blows
Eight-legged horn toads
emerge out the murky swamp
to be instantly paralyzed
by the gators loony song
Trapped in a trance
they dance to their demise
As the darkened clouds
and shrieking shouts
begin to fill the sky
Dense fog crowds the streets
as the ground begins to shake
Grave robbers cower in fear
as the dead begins to wake

Terror spreads through the town
like butter to the bread
Children think they'll be safe
by hiding under the bed
The gate squeaks
As floor boards creek
From the Undead's clumsy walk

Townsfolk scared to death

Cant form the words to talk

Hastly moving to the door

trying to escape

 Making sudden movements

Costs them all their

Face
