Mommy

Mommy what happened?
How did you change so fast?
I thought that you were different
but that image didn't last.

You used to be so perfect
in my eyes alone.
Tell me what has changed you,
in these years I've grown.

Your sweet demeanor,
now bitter and cruel,
my epic failure
is your fires fuel.

The booze have warped you
into this person I despise.
It kills me to remember..
and just to look into your eyes.

Mommy what happened?
How did you change so fast?
I thought that you were different
but that image didn't last.

It really is hard when someone changes and must be especially hard when they change because of something like alcohol.
