I hope I have a paper
And a pen
No pencils
They're never sharp enough
And then I'll write
About the beauty of the moment
The scent in the air
The sounds that reach my ears
And the way you look
The way your eyes will soften
And your mouth will turn up
You'll smile and reach out for me
Drag me close and hug me tight
I suppose it is then that I'll forget
About the paper and the pen
And the poetry of the moment
And I will simply lose myself in you
Lose myself in the moment
