In Her Satchel

Missing image
Poetry gave her today;

          tender smiles
    silken-wrapped inward,

held for future reference.

Toted in her satchel
spilling cerise sugar,

          (it leaks from ripped stitching)

visions are painted
onto cement sidewalks.

Depth portrays truth-songs
and follows her around
singing the tune of unity.
