I planted a tree, you see,
one with little heart leaves,
that glimmer in the sun,
reminding us of loving fun.
As it grows it gains strength,
proving we can go to any length.
Size matters but only in love,
and there never can be enough.
Fragments of the love I have for you,
reminding me of the days without you.
But soon enough we'll be together,
under the growth of heart forever.
