Birthing Truth

The birthing of truth came naked
  poetry gave her today
unblemished yet moldable
  silken-wrapped inward
Liberty and Independence
  toted in her satchel

Politics and lies create stench
  it leaks from ripped stitching
drawing the concrete jungle curtains
  onto cement sidewalks
desperately persuading with propaganda
  and follows her around

The title brought me here with an expectation and I found something greater.

The ability to take those words and create a poem with such a political stance is amazing. Great job poet. It was my pleasure to be fortunate enough to collaborate with a poet of your caliber.

I wish you well in the challenge.

    Much Love ♥
