poetry gave her today
an orange brown tabby cat
and a ball of yarned words
silken-wrapped inward
toted in her satchel
the words have diarrhea -
it leaks from ripped stitching
onto cement sidewalks
the cat is delusional
thinks he's a dog
and follows her around
sniffing for applause

I like how you decided to break it apart a bit instead of tacking on at the end. Word diarrhea, what an image as it splatters to the sidewalk. Great job and congratulations!

I laughed so hysterically here!
This is a hoot! I guess you know that you are my Gold winner here! I knew that before I placed you on the Finalists' List.
Thank you for making me laugh so hard, and for this collaboration entry. It has been my honor and pleasure.

No need to wish you LUCK!
Always ♥
