You want to know how you affected me?
When I was just a little girl.
When I looked at you,
like you were my whole world.
Well you left me mom.
You didn't even look back.
I always felt it was my fault,
as a matter of fact.
I chased you all my life.
I was looking for your love.
Yet you always pushed me away,
There was no one you put me above.
I felt so hurt,
by your lack of affection,
I was doing anything,
just to get your attention.
Then you picked up the drugs.
You left everyone behind.
If only you could have saw,
the hurt in my eyes.
Now a day's your sober.
You have a good man.
And you try to act like,
you want to be my friend.
Who the hell you think you are,
Trying to get back in my life?
Don't you think you hurt me enough.
But you don't even think twice.
I just wish for one "I'm sorry"
but you have never even tried.
I can not forgive you
for letting me shed those tears I've cried.
