Samuel's Warning

Samuel the Lamanite
warns the Nephites to repent,
you have to know that
Samuel was heaven sent.

With a strong warning
he points to righteousness,
he tells them to do what's right,
to clean up their sinful mess.

Upon the wall, evading arrows
protected by the spirit,
Samuel shouts to the Nephites
but most will just not hear it.

Samuel tells them to turn to God
and let go of their evil ways,
all their hard hearted wickedness,
was taking over their days.

Some were in praise of riches
while others were full of hate,
Samuel kept on warning
that their sins were just too great.

Most people disregard his warnings
and don't listen to his voice,
they push Samuel away
and threaten his life by choice.

Samuel does all that he can
until it is time to leave,
he gave it a mighty try
but too many people don't believe.

Some people followed
Samuel and his great warning,
but for many others there,
they may have been left in mourning.
